Fly New Zealand

Fly New Zealand

Here are a few trout beauties from Troutboynz caught by dry fly in a New Zealand river. The weather looks a little chilly for the early days of summer, and by all accounts the wind was high, too, but that didn’t stop the trout from rising (or taking the bait). This day of fly fishing can be counted a success. New Zealand is a leading fishing destination, and with its temperate climate, it grows some of the largest wild rainbow trout in the world. Fly fishing in New Zealand comes with plenty of stunning geography and the opportunity to catch fish in remote backcountry spaces that can only be reached by foot or helicopter.
